About Horse:
Introducing Willow, a 2015 APHA mare who brings joy and confidence to children and adults alike. She is among the finest horses I have ever bred and raised, and I take immense pride in her. Standing at 14.3 hands, Willow moves with the grace of a warmblood. She was professionally started at the age of two by KB Performance Horses. Throughout her training, we have engaged in various activities, including beginner lessons for children, trail riding, western dressage, ranch riding shows, cattle sorting, and even driving! Willow is a stunning mare seeking a lifelong partner who will appreciate her. She is the type of horse that can take a year off and still be trailered out for a ride without any issues, always ensuring her rider’s and family’s safety. With excellent ground manners and a calm demeanor under saddle, she is easy to care for and loves being groomed. Willow is also very safe around traffic, whether she’s being ridden or pulling a cart, and she loves nothing more than heading out for a relaxing Sunday drive with her family.Willow is kind and has taught many students from the ages of 5 years to 65+ years to walk, trot, canter. She knows when to take it slow, but she also has a gas pedal when asked which makes her perfect for any level of riding. We love letting her gallop across a wide-open field. Willow is also well-behaved for the farrier, vet, and during clipping. As we are downsizing, I am eager to find the right person for Willow. She has traveled along the East Coast and participated in several Western Dressage shows in Florida, achieving a high score of 77% and an average of 72% in the intro-basic level, with the potential to advance further as her rider gains confidence. Willow thrives on having a job and quickly learns patterns. She has a well-balanced walk, trot, lope, and can perform lead changes. Willow is comfortable crossing bridges and water and will self-load into a trailer. In addition to her impressive skills, Willow is a wonderful mother with a two-year-old filly in training who is excelling under her owner’s guidance. Willow is barefoot but has previously worn shoes and sliders during her reining training. She has participated in several pony camps and is always a favorite among the kids. Willow is current on all vaccinations, and I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have about her.
