About Horse:Marisol is a bay Paso Fino mare who is likely in foal to my Gypsy Vanner stallion, a b/w paint with crystal blue eyes. I’ll post pics of them both in this ad.
For the right buyer, Marisol’s sale price is very negotiable. Vet is scheduled to confirm the pregnancy. If she’s not pregnant and you want her to be, I’ll waive the stud fee and you can get the vet to do the insemination, enough for two or three tries.
Marisol was born in May 2005 and aside from the farm where she was born, I’ve been her only owner since mid-2007. Making the decision to sell her has been difficult, but life has thrown major and unexpected curve balls at me and my family, and I am not able to give her the time and attention she’s used to getting.
She is very people friendly, sweet and on the ground is safe for people of all ages, shapes and sizes. She loves attention and will return any affection you give her tenfold. This does not mean you should not follow standard safety practices. After all, she’s still a large animal and even though she has a loving nature, you should exercise common sense.
She requires an experienced rider, but with some training I am sure she will be a fun horse for anyone to ride. I’m just so busy and not getting any younger. I need to downsize.
She is an extremely easy keeper and very inexpensive to maintain. She eats a half scoop of 11% sweet feed or pellets once a day and gets timothy or coastal hay. She should be dirt-lotted if possible. If not, she needs a grazing halter if she’s in a grassy protein-rich pasture. Her feet are good. She doesn’t need shoes. She’s also super cute - she looks like a carousel horse.
She must go to a home where she will be loved and given lots of attention.
