"Handsome" is a stout beast of a mount. A bright, athletic, registered Quarter Horse standing around 15.1hh. This 10 year old steed is cutting and racing bred with lineage descending the famous Carona Cartel on the top and Freckles Playboy on the bottom. His walk is slow, jog is easy going, gaits are smooth and transitions effortless and he has natural collection at the lope making him perfect for Western and English alike. Handsome has completed the Fundamentals and a majority of the Intermediate levels of the Method. He is respectful and willing on the ground, has a good stop, is soft, supple and responsive undersaddle. He knows how to sidepass, turn around, take both leads, open gates, stands at a mounting block and has a hind end on him to get work done. Additionally, he has been ridden bareback, double, English, on trails, and over obstacles. He has many miles under his feet. Handsome would make a great all-around competitor, ranch rider, youth step-up horse, roping prospect or barrel racer. He does well around other animals including other horses, but additionally dogs, cats, cows, goats, and deer. He is naturally more quiet and low headed with a soft eye and a good mind. Handsome is eager to learn and enjoys consistent work, however he does not regress with time off. His goofy and naturally curious personality will have you locked in love from the first time you meet him.
