Introducing Steel Dust a 15.3 hand tall 6yr old dapple gray Saddlebred gelding. He’s not only dappled out he also has four matching white socks to boot!This guy is defiantly a go to trail machine. He’ll tackle any of the steep bank drop offs no problem. And doesn’t let anything phase him he’ll cross any kind of water, logs, or bridges. He especially loves the water and never hesitates to step right in and loves splashing if you’ll let him.
He gets along out in the herd he’s actually the low man on the totem pole. He’s great for the farrier stands still enough to get the hot shoe treatment. He stands great for tacking and mounting. He loads and hauls excellent.
He has NO bad habits or vices. He is great out on the trails doesn’t mind the wildlife popping out. He rides away from home alone and will separate away from a group out on the trail.
He has a smooth easy to post to trot and has a smooth canter as well. He is more Whoa than go so more on the slower side. He is great with traffic. He’s an easy keeper nice and stout can easily carry a bigger rider.
I would call him husband/boyfriend safe or wife/girlfriend safe. Basically, you can put your significant other on him and have them follow along behind and he’ll take care of them. He’s safe and doesn’t mind going at a slower pace and just an all around fun trail horse.
He is up to date on vaccines, dewormings, farrier, Coggins, and vet check. Just call if you have any questions or want to come see him.
