He is a black and white gelding with a smooth natural four-beat racking gait and four keg shoes. Checkers is beginner friendly and has been camping and trail ridden throughout Kentucky and Tennessee. He handles steep hills, deep water, creeks, ditches, bridges, rough terrain, cattle, and traffic with confidence. He rides alone or in a group and is comfortable in any position. Checkers is broke to gunfire, flags, tarps, and cantering, and he comes to the mounting block. He is easy to catch and rides on a loose rein in a simple bit.
