Meet Cactus — the ultimate kids’ pony! The hair, the color, the mind, the size… It’s all there. Please let me know when you find one cooler. Cactus is a 1/4 Friesian 3/4 Pony 2020 gelding. He stands 13. H. From quiet and “done it all” to athletic and versatile in the arena, this little guy has it covered. Cactus has a smooth walk, trot, and canter, with simple lead changes, a side pass, and a pivot. He’s light, responsive, and rides around like a quarter horse. He’s been started over jumps and absolutely loves it — he would excel in the jumper ring, Pony Club, etc. Cactus also goes western; he has been roped off and has pushed cattle. He’s used to all the commotion of farm life — dogs, skid steers, and more. Not only is he the most incredible dude in the arena, but he’s also great on trails. He’s quiet alone or with others, and he’s been through creeks, over logs, across ditches, etc. Cactus has also been on overnight camping trips, tied on the high line, and around covered wagons. Cactus also drives great! We don’t currently have a cart that fits his size, so we were unable to obtain videos. His previous owners drove him frequently and said he drives very well. He gets along with others in the pasture, is easy to catch, and is a sweetheart in the barn. Don’t miss out on this cute little guy — perfect for the kids and grandkids!
