He is a striking gray gelding with a calm demeanor, natural four-beat gait, and an easy canter. Gus has been trail ridden throughout Missouri, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Kentucky. He confidently handles steep slopes, water crossings, logs, mud, rocks, ditches, obstacle courses, bridges, and rough terrain. He rides well alone or in groups and is comfortable in the front, middle, or back of the pack. He neck reins, side passes, stands well at the mounting block, and is easy to clip, bathe, tack, load, shoe, and handle.
