Don’t tell Breyer but one of their horses came to life!!! Dan is the dream horse of all dream horses, the most unique unicorn that you will find! Not only is he a snowcapped appy that is painted to perfection he is also gaited to perfection! History: Dan was raised here locally, and we bought him when he was just a colt. He was started and trained by the best in the business and went on to complete the natural horsemanship program where he learned several tricks (side passing to a mounting block, laying down for mounting and setting on his rump) doing the natural horsemanship program also allowed Dan’s personality to shine as he is a total love bug and is everyone’s best friend! (we included some pics of him when was 2-4 years old on his ad) Now Dan as a 9 year old, is a well built registered Pleasure Saddle Horse gelding that is standing around 15.1hh. He has the good looks, the coloring and (the best part) the mindset that anyone could ask for! Not only does he look cool, he has all of the other boxes checked as well… he is Mr. Personality, as friendly as they come, loves attention and is very calm natured! Dan has been ridden by every member of our family all the way down to our 6 year old and we’ve trail ridden him double. He has been ridden down the highways and he is traffic safe. Dan is great on trails and he will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough, rocky areas. He has a natural gait that is super smooth, he will lope, has a good stop, he neck reins and backs! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been ridden many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He has been on several week long camping trips. He hauls well and picket line ties also. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. Dan has been ridden at night, lead dogs and been coon hunted off of. He has no bad habits!
