LOCKED UP IN DIXIE
Dixie is a 5 year old Registered Tennessee Walking Horse mare. Her TWHBEA registration number is 21800398. She stands 15 hands on a keg shoe. Dixie showed at the Fast Spring Showcase in 2021 and was reserve in the 5 & under Park Pleasure. She finished out the year with multiple wins in All Day Pleasure & Go As You Please.
In 2022 she was shown in the same two classes also receiving top place ties. This mare is very versatile- whether in the show ring or on a trail ride, she’s ready to give her all. Dixie is also the perfect age to start breeding if that’s what you choose. She will cross logs and go thru water. Dixie is very sure footed on the trails. She can ride in the front, middle, or back of the group all on a loose rein. Dixie is easy to clip, bathe & load on a trailer. She stands good for the farrier. She doesn’t mind if other riders run up her tail- there will be no buck, kick, squeal or rearing. She is quite on the ground with some impeccable ground manners. She will stand cross-tied or single-tied.
Dixie has been exposed to sirens. She’s traffic safe around vehicles or bicycles. She is safe and sound around dogs! Dixie is ready to make someone an amazing partner for many years to come!
