Joe is a seasoned and dependable 8-year-old registered Spotted Saddle Horse with an unshakable mind and a kind heart. He’s been extensively ridden through Big South Fork (TN), both sides of the Smoky Mountains (NC & TN), Daniel Boone Forest (KY), and Shawnee (IL). He’s also been in parades and served as an outrider alongside wagons. Joe is confident alone or in a group. He’ll lead, ride in the middle, or follow. He doesn’t mind! He rides off the farm without issue and can be separated from the herd or other riders without a fuss. He’s calm, sure-footed, and traffic safe, with no spook. He has a smooth one-handed neck rein that makes trail riding relaxed and fun. Joe stands quietly tied for hours, has perfect stable manners, and is affectionate and people-loving. He camps well stalls, pickets, and is broke to hobble. He’s also been used for trail clearing work, once standing calmly as a tree was cut down right in front of him. He’ll even straddle a log to help his rider mount. Dental work: 2/6/2025. Vaccinations (Rabies, Coggins, 5-in-1): 3/1/2025. Deworming & Lepto: 4/6/2025.
