Meet Ridge, a gorgeous 8-year-old Kentucky Mountain gelding, standing 14.3 hands! Not only is Ridge gorgeous with his golden coat, but he is smooth, smooth, smooth!! He has an amazing 4-beat-gait with a nice slow lope. He is enjoyable to ride for long periods of time! Ridge ties out quietly and is a great horse to take on camping trips! Ridge has been ridden through several environments: busy traffic, woods, groups, and out alone. He takes all environments well and is sure-footed. He has been desensitized to wildlife, livestock, whips, tarps etc. Ridge would be perfect for an intermediate rider as he does like to move out, however he is respectful and walks, gaits, and lopes on a loose rein.
