If you have been looking for that perfect draft cross gelding, then look no further Dozer is the one for you. Horses like Dozer are very rare and hard to find. I’ve never owned one like him in my life. Dozer is very fancy, broke, safe, quiet, and gentle. He is the definition of a Gentle Giant. He is a finished trail horse and has done ranch work, checking fences, gathering cattle, and catching cattle and knows how to handle a rope and pull like a d-9 dozer. No bull has been able to out-pull him. NOTHING phases this guy. He is seasoned on organized and local trail rides. He has been to big parades. He has ridden in the mountains. He will ride in a group or alone. He will pony colts and mares all day long. He has also been a rodeo pick-up mount. He has a JAM on stop. You put your feet forward or slightly lean forward; he stops right then and there. Has a spin, and a great backup.
Very catty on a cow left to right when asked. He will carry a flag. He is SAFE for advanced beginners and up because he is handily broke and can be ridden with leg pressure. He is sure-footed on the trail and HONEST. Walks through ditches, logs, water, etc., a point-and-go ride. My favorite thing about him is how gentle and safe he is. My one-year-old son loves to ride him!! Don’t worry about having difficulty mounting him because he will sidepass over to the mounting block for you to mount him with the snap of your fingers. Dozer would make a great trail competition horse and has been used on an obstacle course. We have ridden him many miles and has seen it all. He is suitable for all riders who know the general riding basics or want a fun, safe, relaxing, stress-free horse to ride. He is good for the farrier and easy to bathe well as load in a trailer. He is well trained with a nice one-hand neck rein with just two fingers or direct rein; it doesn’t matter depends on what’s comfortable for you, side pass, backs, rides with no bridle, has an excellent turnaround, nice trot, and will short lope from a standstill. He honestly feels like you’re riding a small horse with the handle and moves that he has. You can also shoot a gun as well as crack a whip. Dozer is as close to bombproof as he can be. Take Dozer home and put him to work in any direction. The sky is the limit with him. Your favorite thing about him will be how quiet and safe he is!!
